Welcome to The School of Destiny

The Bible declares that each person is a unique creation of Almighty God and each has a unique destiny to fulfill. The School of Destiny exists to help believers in Jesus Christ identify their place and purpose in the  Body of Christ. In the process of learning, the students gifts will be sharpened.

 

Each student can  indivdualize their path of preparation in accordance with God's purposes for their lives.

 

We are not just here to train but also to encourage and mentor. Our purpose is help God's purposes for each individual be realized and walked out with excellence. Not by might, not by the power of determination or will or human endeavor, but by God's Holy Spirit.

More about the School

The School of Destiny is a non-profit, Christian, equiping and training resource for the Capital Region and beyond. It is our desire to come along side local pastors and elders and help train those they are serving . We offer free training in small group leadership to those recommended by local clergy and free primers in prayer counseling.

 

We also are here for those called to "five- fold" leadership. We are not a traditional bible college or seminary but offer a tremendous first step to those who believe they are called to full time Church ministry.

What We Offer

 The School of Destiny is currently offering several different courses of study and we will be expanding  these choices in 2010.

Currently there is a three semester, video based school of ministry and leadership developed by Dove Christian Fellowship International.

Secondly, there is a two year, School of Biblical Counseling. Graduates qualify for board certification by the Intetrnational Board of Christian Counselors. As part of this we include both Basic I and Basic II from Elijah House school of prayer ministry. We are official Elijah House facilitators.

Elijah House schools are also designed to stand alone.

There will be other schools starting in the fall and next year as well.

Changed lives. That's what the Gospel is all about.  Changed lives are what drives the School of Destiny. We rejoice and praise the living God for the maturity He brings forth in our students lives and the fruit He brings forth through our graduates. Ultimately, everything we do is for Him and through Him. To the Lord belongs the Glory.
